Pipex AB (UK) Limited is the sister company of Pipex AB (Sweden) and is the sole authorised distributor for SIA POLIURS, manufacturer of preinsulated pipe, fittings, and associated products in the UK.
POLIURS have been manufacturing preinsulated pipework since 1995; initially providing “flex manufacturing” for other European manufacturers, however due to market growth it now manufactures and supplies products in its own right. In 2023 POIURS produced 355km of preinsulated pipe and over 17,300 fittings, which resulted in an annual turnover of €42M.
Due to the anticipated growth in the District Heating market in the UK and across Europe as we all strive to achieve Net Zero POLIURS invested in a new foaming production line at its manufacturing facility located 45-minutes from central Riga, Latvia, which will allow the business to increase capacity to manufacture €80M of preinsulated pipe product annually.
The company operates under ISO9001 and ISO14001 systems, all products are certified to be fully compliant with EuroHeat & Power norms and the required BS EN standards (EN253, EN448, EN489, EN15689 & EN14419). The manufacturing process and products are independently audited by RISE the Swedish Technical Research Institute, and a 5-year “full repair” warranty is offered as standard. The production facility runs on 100% renewable electricity and employs over 100-staff of which 20% of the production staff are female.
Pipex AB (UK) Limited supplies preinsulated products into the UK liaising with POILURS, our appointed hauliers and compiling and submitting the required UK Customs Declarations.
