The purpose of this role is to develop a cohesive, integrated marketing strategy based on market data and competitor analysis to position Insite Energy as the provider of choice for private developers and heat suppliers requiring distributed energy services.

The strategy should translate into a marketing plan and programme of activities that build positive brand awareness amongst the key target markets and thereby enhance opportunities for the Business Development team to generate profitable growth.

The role will also support with developing and managing the internal communications channels and content across the organisation to enhance employees working experience and to promote cross-company awareness and understanding.

This is a varied role with responsibilities from right across the spectrum of B2B marketing activities. You’ll work on a variety of tasks, from content marketing to online (and eventually in person) events, from supporting on PR to the creation of sales materials.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the marketing of both Insite and KURVE in line with budget, developing and delivering campaigns and activities as part of a comprehensive marketing plan
Create and design new materials and supporting visuals in line with Business Development requirements, including presentations, brochures, articles & case studies; working with external designers where support is required
Champion the consistent use, and management of, all Insite-branded templates used across the company including the implementation of updates as and when required
Manage and update website and social channel content, with particular focus on LinkedIn activity
Lead on the organisation of internally and externally-led events, with close management of Insite’s relationships with relevant industry bodies & associations to identify opportunities for collaboration e.g., industry event, webinars, awards
Work with external partners to support the delivery of the PR plan (external advertising and paid-for articles), including managing all e-shot activity to our client base via the MailerLite platform
Work closely with our HR manager to develop and manage an internal communications strategy, aligned to Insite’s brand, to ensure key messaging is effectively and regularly delivered to all employees
Host monthly update meetings and keep senior stakeholders informed of key marketing activity, producing a monthly report summarising key activities and spend against budget
Stay up-to-date with marketing best practice and industry (i.e. changes in regulation), competitor & client activity, contributing ideas to promote Insite’s position as a leading heat network services provider
Deliver content ideas for new blogs, external articles, LinkedIn posts and other channels, writing copy using details provided from staff members
Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing services




Requirements


Skills/Experience – Must Haves:

Demonstrable practical experience in a marketing related role
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field e.g., marketing, communications, environment, or equivalent work experience
Excellent communication skills with an ability to draft a variety of written content and adapt to a range of audiences
A team player with demonstrable ability to plan, multitask and prioritise in order to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail, with experience in writing and presenting clear marketing strategies and plans
Creativity and commercial awareness, with a client-oriented communication approach
Excellent skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Suite or similar e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
Experience of analytics platforms e.g. Google Analytics
Video editing experience
Experience creating quick animations
Experience of working with external agencies and suppliers
Experience working in the energy sector, with some knowledge of heat networks

This role is a full-time permanent role: The hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break) with a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on knowledge and experience. Part-time roles will be considered for the right candidate.

Your Role
Working out of the REHAU London office and your home, you will be responsible for generating new business for our pre-insulated district heating pipework across London and the South East. Your activity will be focused towards the key decision makers within Specifiers, Mechanical & Civil Contractors and ESCOs. You will be responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets, along with ensuring regular planning and reporting is provided on all projects through our CRM system.
Your Profile
The sucessful candidate will have experience of selling pre-insulated pipework, district heating products or similar HVAC products to specifiers, ESCOs and contractors within the industry. The successful candidate must have a strong track record in developing relationships with Contractors and supplying via Wholesalers. The ideal candidate will have technical sales experience and good market knowledge of the district heating / heat network market. The successful candidate will have a structured approach to the role, be well organised, be an excellent communicator, as well as experienced in carrying out technical presentations.
