Position: District Heating – Business Development Manager
Description
Over the past 18th months, CPV has seen increased growth in its District Heating business sector and is seeking an experienced and driven District Heating Business Development Manager to lead and grow our district energy initiatives. This role involves identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving projects in low-carbon district heating systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of energy infrastructure, sustainability, public-private partnerships with a keen knowledge of the contractor base that support it.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Build and maintain relationships with local authority developers, energy consultants, and contractors.
- Collaborate with the CPV engineering team to ensure proposed heat network designs are commercially viable, technically sound, and aligned with customer requirements.
- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and provide regular reporting on sales performance, and strategic goals.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in energy infrastructure, utilities, or district heating/cooling.
- Demonstrable track record of successful project origination and closing within the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter with strategic mindset and strong organizational skills.
