Burns & McDonnell is expanding its OnSite Energy & Power Group in the UK and seeking a dynamic leader to establish and grow our district energy and heat networks business.
This is a senior market-maker role and presents a rare opportunity to build and lead a business from the ground up, supported by one of the largest employee-owned engineering, architecture, and construction firms in the world. The successful candidate will:
- Develop strategy and delivery models to position Burns & McDonnell as a premier designer and contractor in the UK market.
- Lead business developmentand client engagement in the district energy and heat networks sector.
- Recruit, mentor, and managea growing UK-based team of engineers, project professionals and support staff.
- Oversee projectsto ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction as the group scales.
- Be accountable for business and project profitability and operational excellence.

Location of Position
UK, ideally (but not required) near a current office in London, Birmingham or Glasgow
