The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, wiring, testing, and commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems for engineering projects, including water and wastewater facilities. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Installation and commissioning of different types of instrumentation and equipment
Installation of Pumps and associated VSD and controls.
To be able to read and understand working drawings and Schematics.
Conduct initial power-up of MCC’s and complete rotation checks on motors and I/O point- to-point checks (dry testing).
Set up instrumentation in the field and scale instrument 4-20 mA signals back to PLC. calibrate any instruments requiring field calibration.
Work with Engineers in order to optimise and improve the process performance of water and wastewater infrastructure.
Complete all commissioning documentation including pre-test inspections, commissioning sheets and SAT documentation.
Proactively review and monitor your own work schedule and ability to work on your own initiative is essential.
Some Wastewater & Water process awareness would be beneficial.
Electrical systems fault finding and recertification.
Attend third part Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) as required and provide acceptance sign-off on behalf of the company.
Complete preliminary installation checks and provide completion snag lists to mechanical and electrical sub-contractors.

We’re now looking for a Head of Housing Heat Networks to lead the strategic direction, improvement and regulatory readiness of our housing led heat networks. This is a role with real scope to influence the future of heat supply in Westminster. You’ll guide how we prepare for new regulations, improve technical performance, strengthen customer protection and support the decarbonisation of our networks in line with our broader sustainability ambitions. You’ll also work closely with colleagues leading the Future of PDHU programme to make sure technical, operational and strategic plans align across the council.
Alongside the strategic elements, you’ll oversee the operational management of our housing heat networks, managing a multidisciplinary team covering engineering, compliance, billing and customer service. You’ll make sure residents receive fair pricing, reliable supply and a consistently positive service, while also planning and sequencing the improvements needed to meet upcoming requirements such as the Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme.
We’re looking for someone with deep experience in heat networks and energy infrastructure, but also someone who cares about the impact this work has on residents and frontline services. You’ll need to be comfortable working across complex programmes, navigating evolving legislation, and building strong relationships with residents, technical teams, partners and senior leaders. This is a highly visible leadership role, and your ability to bring people with you, communicate clearly and make sound, evidence based decisions will be essential.

Overview of role and level of responsibility
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a proven track record in the commercial and industrial heat pump market to support our rapidly growing pipeline of decarbonisation projects across the UK & Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable expertise across Ground Source, Air Source and Water Source technologies, and be comfortable taking ownership of the full tender lifecycle, from RFI through to final submission.
We would also welcome candidates with a strong MEP Estimating background, subject to significant project complexities and scale.
The role reports into the Head of Sales
Specific tasks and deliverables
Review and interpret RFIs / ITTs / RFQs to establish scope, technical requirements and key commercial parameters
Lead the full tender lifecycle, including preparation, coordination, and submission of bids for commercial and industrial heat pump projects
Undertake detailed take-offs from drawings, specifications and schedules
Develop cost models and pricing schedules for Ground Source, Air Source and Water Source heat pump systems
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes, identifying value engineering opportunities
Build and maintain accurate BoMs (Bills of Materials) for each proposal
Collaborate with internal engineering and project delivery teams to validate technical assumptions and design inputs
Draft technical and commercial proposal documents, including executive summaries and supporting schedules
Manage all communication through customer tender portals, including clarification requests, RFI responses and submission uploads

Qualifications and Experience
