Pre-insulated steel pipes are available from Uponor Infra Fintherm and are primarily designed for district heating and district cooling, district hot water networks, but can also be used in sewerage systems and the transport of industrial media.
All products in the Wehotherm® series comply with all of the requirements of EN 253, EN 448, EN 488, EN 15698-1 and EN 489, documented by a number of certificates issued by both Czech and foreign testing laboratories. Uponor Infra Fintherm holds certificates issued by EHP (EUROHEAT & POWER) and German AGFW (Fernwärme-Forschungsinstitut).
Uponor Infra Fintherm is certified for the installation of pre-insulated piping joints according to German standards AGFW FW 603 and FW 605 by the accredited testing laboratory SKZ.
Uponor Infra Fintherm offers its partners a wide-ranging portfolio of complementary services. In particular we offer stress analyses, pipe-laying plans, advisory services, training, electrical welding of joints and fitting of shrinkable and electrically weldable joints, pipe tapping, and pre-insulated piping leakage detection.
Uponor also offers flexible (PEX) pre-insulated pipe in the form of its Ecoflex range, ideal for secondary district heating networks, residential house connections, bioenergy, biogas plants and district cooling networks. Manufactured to BS EN 15632-3 and available in sizes 25mm to 125mm (single pipes) or 25mm to 63mm (twin pipes), Ecoflex is the market leader when it comes to flexibility and ease of use, with a 25 year manufacturer’s guarantee as standard. Cut lengths available on short lead-times from our Lutterworth facility. BIM modelling available for larger projects.
