UK Sales Manager

BRUGG is a large privately owned business based in Switzerland who operate worldwide across many different sectors.

BRUGG Pipes are a well-established manufacture who is known for producing the best products on the market for the renewable energy sector (CALPEX PUR-KING) BRUGG manufactures pre-Insulated pipes with the best insulation in the world and also has an extensive product portfolio to promote within the UK.

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record to help us with our continuous growth and support the group strategy for the future plans for the UK, this position will be reporting directly into the UK Managing Director and will have the responsibility for the external sales and growth plans to grow the sales team.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.


Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and recruit top sales talent
Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
3+ years' of sales experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Maintenance Coordinator will be working in the Asset Maintenance team, supporting planned and reactive work activities across our District Heat Networks. You will be involved in activities supporting the ongoing maintenance of equipment such as: Commercial Boilers, CHP engines, pumps, Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and other general plant room equipment and pipework.

You will be responsible to coordinate the critical parts store. Including, receiving deliveries, organising the stores and managing the issuing of parts from the store and on the CMMS).

You are not required to have experience in the maintenance of District Heating systems as we will provide a full training programme. We operate energy centres and substations and we are expanding our competences in other sources of renewable energy such as PV solar panels, Heat Pumps and Chillers.

The candidate must have mechanical understanding with a graduate degree in engineering or similar.

Must be computer literate and be able to consult and understand O&M manuals to scope out the correct parts needed to maintain the equipment.

These skills are desirable:

Excellent organisational skills
Good time management
Communication skills to liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
Reporting on tablets and spread sheets
Problem solving

Already established in the UK with an existing customer base, Vargo are the exclusive UK distributors of the Ecotech pre-insulated pex system, a new and innovative system from one of Europe’s leading manufacturers. We are seeking an individual  with a proven track record in selling pex pre-insulated pipework within the UK to help further grow and develop the business.  The position comes with a competitive salary package together with an attractive commission/profit share.  It is envisaged that, subject to performance, a successful candidate could be expected to progress to Sales Director within a relatively short period with a commensurate remuneration/incentive package.
