What you’ll do:

  • Your focus will be on delivering value for our clients, using distributed energy to resolve energy security, costs and sustainability challenges across the range of sectors and markets in which Buro Happold operates, ultimately helping us to drive this agenda and deliver energy solutions for the 21st century.
  • You will be fully engrained in projects, taking ownership of energy design and modelling and working as part of the wider Cities group to capitalise on opportunities to grow our energy consulting offering.

Your responsibilities are expected to comprise the following:

  • Providing strategic low energy design solutions for a variety of projects.
  • Supervising and monitoring the design process to ensure that the scheme design objectives are being followed and the design reflects the client’s requirements.
  • Contributing to financial modelling of proposed projects.
  • Managing discipline input including monitoring resourcing against project plan and task definition and allocation.
  • Producing accurate, professional written reports clearly communicating our work to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed of design progress and any risks are consulted with project leader/project director.
  • Supporting the Energy leadership in client and design team relationships.
